January POM: David Clemens Volume is what decided this month's POM. Clemens had the most WRs, and is making a statement for himself as one of the-elites quickest WR setters. He smashes Control bringing the elite total time down by 6 seconds on his own. He WRed the same difficulty twice, so when all is said and done, Bryan now has a 300 point untied sweep on Control at 359/413/417 - and nobody else is even close. David Clemens and Jimmy Bauer both had huge months. David, a relative newcomer to the elite who decided to specialize only on WRs, not PRs points or total time, nabbed 6 of the more common recent tied WRs: DamA, Arch55s, S1 150s, ArchA and S1A. Jimmy Bauer, coming into the month with 11 WRs, doesn't have the luxury of attacking the common WRs anymore. Jimmy tackled Streets 00A, B1A (it wasn't too long ago this was an untied record), SurfaceII A, and the new Statue 2:19s on SA/00A. Illu holds his activity with an untied of his own, on Fac 00A at 0:55. It's been a long time coming - Rayan hit 0:55 on Secret Agent on October 15th of last month. It took almost 3 months for this nearly identical run to come around on a harder difficulty - and SA has already been tied at this point. Eddie Lovins throws in his usual couple of WRs this month - he's never made a gigantic charge but he's always hanging around. He grabs the impressive 2:19 Statue pair. The group from Brazil comes storming in this month, with a handful of players picking up one WR. Notables include Karl Jobst returning with 1:03 Caverns A, and the hot man living on ice Luke Szklarz with 1:03 on Surface 1 A. Everybodies favorite Dion, oops I meant Odin, hit a the same WR as well. 10 players now have this WR. The elite total time changes from 1:15:37 to 1:15:30! There were 12 WR setters this month.
